What to Check Before You Hire
- An Alberta prepaid contracting licence if the roofer takes any deposit (Service Alberta licence lookup)
- A WCB-Alberta clearance letter showing their account is in good standing
- A written contract with itemized prices, dates, the total with taxes and your cancellation rights
- For a hail claim, a call to your insurer before any permanent repair
- We do not screen or verify contractors, so check these yourself before you sign
